A small hotel located in the tiny village of Craigellachie, The Highlander Inn sits at the heart of Speyside Malt Whisky Country. With well-kept cask ales and around 300 whiskies to sample in the bar, many real ale and whisky enthusiasts like to pop in all year round.

Known equally for their friendly service as well as their extensive whisky collection, The Highlander Inn has received a lot of awards including Whisky Bar of The Year from Scottish License Trade Association and is one of the most popular whisky experience bars in Scotland.

We are recognised as one of Scotland’s best known “Village Inns” and a truly international “hot spot” for whisky tourism.

All rooms in the main building are en-suite with free WiFi and flat screen Freeview televisions. The restaurant and bar is located on the lower level and there is a small private dining area on first floor for larger groups.

The local bus stop sits across the road from the Inn and with direct links to Elgin where you can access Scotrail services to travel onwards it is within easy reach.

To the rear of the property is the famous Speyside Way which is very popular with walkers from all over the world who like to either have a short pleasant walk to Dufftown or Aberlour or discover the whole of the Speyside region by foot while incorporating some distillery tours along the way.
