Home to over fifty fantastic distilleries, Speyside offers whisky-lovers an experience like no other. To make the journey between event venues easy, Spirit of Speyside has partnered with Stagecoach North Scotland and local taxi firms to provide visitors with a range of travel options.

Stagecoach North Scotland will offer festival-goers a day ticket which offers unlimited travel on all routes, including the Whisky Trail Route 36 (Elgin, Rothes, Craigellachie, Aberlour and Dufftown) and Route 34 (Aviemore to Grantown-on-Spey). Day tickets can be purchased on buses at a special price of £3.00 by showing a Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival e-ticket. Route 36 will run throughout the Festival, using the Saturday timetable on May 3 - 4.

The Festival is also working with local taxi firms to provide subsidised vouchers. Taxi vouchers can be bought online or at the Festival Information Hubs in Aberlour and Dufftown for £3.50. With a face value of £5.00, vouchers can be used towards payment of a taxi fare with any participating firm. Any number of vouchers can be used per trip together with cash. For a full list of participating taxi firms, visit the Festival website.

For the first time, visitors staying in the same town, village or hotel or attending the same events, can link up to share costs via the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Transport Share Scheme Facebook page.

If you’re looking for a first-class experience, Spirit of Speyside also offers everything from off-road cars to chauffeur driven vintage cars.

Full details of all transport options are available on the Festival website here
