Sadly the weather stopped us from attending this years Spirit of Amsterdam International Whisky Festival. We look forward to next year.
The fifth Spirit of Amsterdam International Whisky Festival takes place this Saturday 3rd March 2018 in the Zuiderkerk, Amsterdam and the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival will be there. We'll be promoting our festival as well as giving you a chance to be a judge in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Whisky Awards - the only whisky awards in the world that places the power to crown the winning drams in the hands of the real experts; the whisky-loving public.
During this blind tasting use your nose and taste buds to vote on 2 x10ml drams, to determine the winner of the 12 Years & Under category:

- Strathisla 12 Year Old
- Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
Never done a blind tasting before? Our Festival Manager, John Blyth will be on hand to guide you through this most enjoyable tasting. If you take part you'll be entered into a free prize draw for your chance to win tickets for a whisky tasting in Speyside during our festival in May 2018.
2 pairs of tickets to be won, 1 pair per session. Travel and accommodation are not included. Prize is not exchangeable, there is no cash equivalent.
Session and Ticket information
- Afternoon session from 1pm to 5pm, tasting between 1:30pm and 4:30pm
- Evening session from 7pm to 11pm, tasting between 7:30pm and 10:30pm
Tickets are priced at:
- Festival entrance per session - €39,-
- Festival entrance for 2 people per session - €70,-
You ticket also includes:
- A Glencairn tasting glass with logo and date.
- A festival brochure
