An ancestor of the hotel owners, Ernest Forsyth, was known almost universally as Toot.

In the café bar that bears his name, visitors and local residents alike can relax in informal surroundings – complete with a locally hand-crafted, copper sink for adding water to your whisky.

Here you can enjoy a dram or an expertly-prepared barista coffee, as well as bar meals, snacks and delicious desserts.
