The Dufftown Royal British Legion is a welcoming community venue in the heart of Dufftown, offering a relaxed and friendly space for both locals and visitors to come together.
Run by volunteers, the Legion plays an active role in the local community, hosting regular social events, live music, and gatherings throughout the year. During the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, it provides an informal and sociable setting where visitors can meet, unwind, and enjoy time between events.
As part of this year’s festival programme, the Legion is hosting a small number of events, including a guided whisky tasting (now sold out), a hands-on blending experience where guests can create their own whisky, and Scottish ceilidh to bring a lively, social feel to the programme.
The venue will also host the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Awards, giving festivalgoers the chance to take part in a blind tasting of shortlisted Speyside whiskies and help decide the winners.
