Keep Calm, Eat Donuts - Join Johnny Baldaray for a nosing and tasting of Whisky paired with Donuts.
Johnny first visited Speyside in 2014 and fell in love with the landscape, community and whisky culture and of course Speyside Whisky. On his return to Costa Mesa in California, he launched the now popular social media based brand Whisky & Donuts (trade marked).
He returned to Speyside 2 years later where he hosted an impromptu pairing at the Tomintoul Distillery with a local dark chocolate and Tomintoul's Old Ballantruan.
Johnny returns to Speyside for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival for the second year and will host a whisky and Donuts tasting in the Commercial Hotel Function Suite in Dufftown on Sunday 5 May 2019.
Along with Dufftown 2000, Johnny will hosts the second Official Whisky and Donuts session at the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. The pairing will comprise 6 different Speyside expressions complimented by 6 different donuts. This year the pairing will feature treats from Inverness' newest bake shop sensation - Perk Coffee and Doughnuts.
So, come and meet the man behind the Whisky & Donuts movement and enjoy an outstanding evening in Dufftown!
