- Boat of Garten Golf Club
Speyside Distillery is delighted to be partnering with Boat of Garten Golf Club for this event as part of the 2019 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
Join us for an afternoon of golf followed by an evening whisky tasting and supper social.
When it comes to golf in the Scottish Highlands, Boat of Garten should be first on every visitor's itinerary. Designed by one of the grand-masters of golf course architecture, James Braid (1870-1950), “The Boat” is set alongside the River Spey in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The course is not only renowned as a demanding test of sporting skill but also as a magnificent setting for the game.
Speyside Distillery produces Award Winning Single Malt Whisky in it’s beautiful artisan distillery in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains, still distilling in time-honoured traditions.
John Harvey-McDonough, 11th generation of the ‘Harveys of Edinburgh’ family of distillers and owner of Speyside Distillery, will host the whisky tasting during supper and relate his personal stories of his family whisky heritage dating back to 1770.
This superb day includes:
