Shhhhhh! – One of the Speyside region’s secrets.
A small and beautiful distillery nestled amongst the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains. Though almost hidden from view, the distillery may look surprisingly familiar to many, as it featured (as Lagganmore distillery) in the popular BBC series “Monarch Of The Glen”.
The most southerly in the Speyside region, and closest to the source of the River Spey, the distillery has been producing spirit since 1990, and now produces the “SPEY from Speyside Distillery” range of single malts, now exporting to an ever-increasing list of countries around the globe.
Since 2012, Speyside Distillers Company Ltd has been under the ownership of Harvey’s of Edinburgh. John Harvey McDonough is the Group CEO and his family has links back to John and Robert Harvey established in 1770.
