At Benriach Distillery, we're known for doing things a little differently, following in the footsteps of our intrepid founder, John Duff, who pursued whisky adventures at home and abroad, before building BenRiach Distillery in 1898, in the north of Speyside.

It is in his adventurous spirit that Benriach boldly approaches the art of distillation and cask maturation, with an ingenious team of whisky makers who continue to lead the way in exploring the flavour possibilities of our hand-crafted Single Malts.

An unconventional Speyside whisky distiller, Benriach distills three malt whisky styles- unpeated, peated and triple distilled- and continues to hold some of the most eclectic casks in Speyside.

Benriach is also one of the two remaining distilleries in Speyside to distill whisky using malted barley from its own on-site floor maltings, a time honoured craft that is celebrated for one month each year and will be in production during this year's Spirit of Speyside Festival.
