With Scotrail and the historic Keith Dufftown Railway to choose from, whether you are looking for ways to get to Speyside, home from the festival or around the area, the railway could be an option for you.

Scotrail

ScotRail, Scotland's national railway service, helps keep Speyside connected via stops at Huntly, Keith, Elgin and Forres. For timetables and routes, up-to-date journey information and to book tickets or travel passes online, visit the ScotRail website.

Keith Dufftown Railway

The Dram Tram is back for The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Whisky has always had an important role in the history of the Keith Dufftown Railway, and this special journey in the hugely popular vintage whisky-themed train carriage, combines both. Tickets for the Dram Tram can be booked here.

Did you know that you can embark on regular journeys along the railway line though? With single fares starting at £5 and return journeys at £16, the service connects Keith and Dufftown, or in terms of distilleries, linking Balvenie, Glenfiddich, and Mortlach to Strathisla and Glen Keith and the main A96 road through to Elgin.

The KDR regular service will run from Friday 3rd May to Sunday 5th May.
