Sssssh....One of Speyside's Best Kept Secrets !
Come and discover the secret of Speyside Distillery… a small, hand-built, artisan distillery nestled amongst the foothills of the beautiful Cairngorm Mountain … still hand distilling in time- aged tradition.
The distillery is not open to the general public, but we do welcome a limited number of guests, by prior appointment, to some exclusive events and tastings of our ‘SPEY from Speyside Distillery’ range of limited edition single malts.
Distillery visits can be arranged to include a choice of experiences: a full tour of the distillery, whisky tastings, the 200 year old Mill with working water wheel, The Harvey’s of Edinburgh Octave room where the family heritage dates back to 1770.
There is also a small art gallery featuring the work of our ‘artist in residence’ Joanna McDonough who is currently exhibiting her stunning wildlife collection.
The distillery has a small shop in the Old Mill which offers some very limited edition whiskies in addition to our SPEY collection of single malts.
Visits can also be personally hosted by the distillery manager - Sandy Jamieson - who has over 38 years of whisky distilling in his blood and an extensive knowledge of the industry… some great stories too.
Tastings and nosings of our SPEY collections and expressions can also be arranged with food pairing using the best available local Highland produce. Light refreshments can also be arranged.
All our visits are bespoke and for small numbers of visitors at any one time to allow you the best of experience. For 18 years and over.
Visits are in English with a Scottish accent of course!
