Festival Bus Services
In partnership with Maynes Coaches. We highly recommend these as the best way to get about during the Festival - buses run on two routes, Central Speyside and Strathspey & Glenlivet and visit nearly all Festival venues.
- 1 Day Bus Pass
- 5 Day Bus Pass
- Opening DInner Bus (Elgin - Glen Grant)
- Opening Dinner Bus (Grantown on Spey - Glen Grant)
Opening Dinner Transport
You can buy return transport to Glen Grant distillery for the 'Touch of Tartan' Opening Dinner. Tickets are available on two routes:
- Elgin to Glen Grant stopping en route to Rothes
- Grantown on Spey to Glen Grant stopping en route at Ballindalloch, Aberlour, Craigellachie, Dufftown and Rothes.
Speyside is BIG! It has to be to accommodate over 50 fantastic distilleries and one of the unique features of the Festival is traveling around events, with other Festival goers, sharing experiences and recommendations on the best drams of the day.
To make it easier we have a dedicated transport network and the option of buying the transport ticket that works best for you. Whether you are staying for one day or the whole festival we have it covered. Working in partnership with public transport providers you can use your Festival transport tickets not only on Festival buses but on certain routes throughout Speyside.
Stagecoach buses are one of our transport partners and will be running Routes 36 (Whisky Trail) and Routes 34 (Aviemore to Grantown on Spey) throughout the Festival. You can find timetables below. Please note that these buses will run throughout the festival using the Saturday timetable on Sunday and Monday.
You can also download train timetables here.
