At the very heart of the Whisky Trail.

Cardhu Country House is an exclusive rural retreat in Speyside's Whisky Country, offering luxury bed and breakfast and fully-catered accommodation. We have six individully designed en-suite guest rooms. Named after local Speyside distilleries, all our rooms are stylishly furnished and extremely comfortable. All rooms have free wifi, televisions and hospitality trays. There is a guest lounge and dining room. Food is freshly prepared in our kitchens using only the finest local ingredients.

The House was originally built in 1868 as the manse of Knockando Parish Church, and it sits in its own stunning, walled garden with views of the local hills, mountains and rolling countryside.

Located in the Spey Valley close to Aberlour we are at the very heart of the Whisky Trail, where more than half of Scotland's malt whisky distilleries are to be found and just a mile from the River Spey, famous for its salmon fishing. The Speyside Way, the long-distance walking and cycling route linking the Cairngorms to the Moray Coast, is a short walk away.

The house is in an idyllic, peaceful spot on the fringes of Knockando near the Cardhu distillery. It is only a minutes walk from the village tennis courts and the beautiful Knockando Church.
