What's On at the 2010 Festival

There are many exciting events being planned and organised at the moment and the 2010 Festival is going to be buzzing with great whisky events, music and fun! There will be something for everyone. Unique tours and tastings, many at distilleries not normally open to visitors, opportunities to meet the experts, matching food and whisky events, a local food fair, masterclasses and lectures, wildlife walks with whisky treats, art and craft, drama and comedy, mountainbiking tours, a vintage car rally, family fun days and many more entertaining events. Also throughout Speyside there will be many live music events.

For whisky enthusiasts who want to learn more about the process of whisky making there is the Spirit of Speyside Whisky School: three days of undiluted malt whisky education.

Another highlight of the Festival are the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Awards, where the final Award winners are judged by consumers. And very special consumers, too - as festival visitors can take part! The awards judging will be held at Benromach Distillery prior to the Opening Dinner on Thursday 29th April 2010.
