Our price per person includes all transport, the distillery tour and a round of golf.
Dalmunach Distillery will open its doors especially for the Festival and offers a Manager’s Tour of the distillery with some insights into the design of this landmark building. At the end of the tour visitors will enjoy a dram.
Situated on the site of the former Imperial Distillery on the banks of the River Spey, Dalmunach was built using the latest innovations and environmental expertise. Every element of the distillery design, including the unique still shapes, has been geared to producing the very highest quality Speyside malt whisky with a rich, fruity character, a vital ingredient for the highest quality blended Scotch whiskies.
Dalmunach Distillery is an excellent example of securing the future of the whisky industry by respecting its heritage. It is fitting that remnants of the old Imperial Distillery have been built into an extremely efficient distillery with an architecturally stunning design inspired by the shape of a sheaf of barley reflecting the core ingredient of single malt whisky. It houses eight unique copper pot stills, with a tulip shape used for the wash stills and an onion shape used for the spirit stills, replicating those from the Imperial Distillery.
Other original features from the previous distillery have been carefully incorporated. Great care was taken to ensure the external façade of the distillery is sympathetic to its environment and the traditional architectural style of the region. Over 18's only please.
Following the distillery visit we will take you to Aberlour where you can enjoy the Festival atmosphere and get some lunch before leaving for Elgin Golf Club for a round of golf with green fees included in the price of a ticket.
Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the finest inland courses in the North of Scotland. Measuring 6,458 yards with par of 69 and a standard scratch of 71, the challenging but fair course is a true test of low and high handicap players alike.
Situated in the heart of Speyside, the golf course is kept in immaculate condition and boasts stunning views over the town of Elgin and the Moray coast to the north and the hills stretching to the distant Cairngorm Mountains to the south.
Four electric ride-on buggies, electric and pull trolleys and a number of top grade sets of clubs are available to hire at reasonable prices: advance booking is essential – please contact us directly so we can make reservations on your behalf.
At the end of the day we will return you to your accommodation.
Please contact us for tailor-made quotations for your transport needs throughout the Festival, daytime or evening.
