St. Fumac's Fair is a 7th Century tradition celebrating the life of a local ‘Saint'. A wooden statue of him will greet you at Drummuir station, on the Community Woodland. A range of activities, stalls and displays, including whisky tasting await you. This is a fun, free, family day out that will provide interest to all ages. Included will be stalls showing and selling local products; refreshments available for purchase; wildlife displays and events; nature walks and activities, not to mention the picturesque journey by train to Drummuir which includes a piece of whisky cake and a free dram (for those of legal age!).

The Fair begins at 11.00 (please note that you can use your return ticket on any train journey on the day of departure) and finishes at 15.00. After your visit to the Fair you can return to Dufftown on either the 12.31, 15.21 or 17.11 train. Reduced train fares apply to visitors to St. Fumac’s Fair. Alternatively, you can make your own way by car to this free event. Drummuir is situated on the B9014, halfway between Dufftown and Keith. Limited parking is available at Botriphnie Kirk, 200 metres from the station.
