Whisky and Chocolate.. the perfect match..
On arrival you will be welcomed into the luxurious surroundings of the Home of Johnnie Walker, which is not usually open to the general public. Andrew Millsopp, Cardhu Group Senior Site Manager and Iain Burnett, Award Winning Highland Chocolatier will be your hosts. Tea & Coffee will be offered in these beautiful surroundings before your experience begins.
You will delve into the history of one of the largest selling single malts in the world and have the science of Cardhu brought to life as Andrew walks you through our beautiful distillery, allowing you to see the process from milling to maturation.
As part of your experience you will enter Duty Free Warehouse No. 7 to sample directly from our duty paid casks whilst being guided through the importance of wood during maturation.
From the warehouse you will return to the Home of Johnnie Walker where Andrew and Iain will guide you through a nosing and tasting of Cardhu Single Malt Whiskies that Iain has masterfully paired with his award winning chocolate.

Iain Burnett - Highland Chocolatier
Award-winning artisan chocolatier Iain Burnett trained under Master Chocolatiers of the Belgian, Swiss and French schools, and creates the multiple awarded Velvet Truffle as well as an internationally renowned range of fresh cream truffles and spiced pralines. It took over 3 years to create his unique truffle using only natural and fresh ingredients - the now famous Velvet Truffle.
Andrew Millsopp - Cardhu Group Senior Site Manager
With nearly 20 years service in the Whisky Industry, Andrew Millsopp has worked in breweries, visitor centres, distilleries and maltings, and has been responsible for many distilleries across Scotland. Today, as Diageo's Senior Site Manager for the Cardhu Group, Andrew is renowned as an expert in his industry, Andrew continues to enthuse visitors from across the world about Scotch Whisky.
