An Exclusive SPEY social evening in the Ghillies Bar at 'The Duke'
Speyside Distillery invite you to join them for an evening hosted by John Harvey-McDonough, CEO and the 11th generation of Harvey's of Edinburgh established in 1770 & owner of Speyside Distillery
John will share with you his family tales as well as a nosing and tasting of our hand crafted, International Award Winning SPEY Single Malt Whisky collection - all followed by a Haggis, Neeps n' Tatties supper.
SPEY whisky heritage originates in 1770 and, with the hotel's origins in the eighteenth century, the Duke of Gordon is a perfect event partner and venue. The hotel itself was originally built as a stopover for passengers travelling by stage coach to Inverness and the North of Scotland, and famously includes Queen Victoria and Prince Albert who stayed in 1861.
The train station (links to Aviemore, Perth & Inverness) is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the hotel for guests wanting to leave their cars behind.
Ticket price includes Whisky tasting & Haggis supper. There is also late night entertainment in the hotel.
