“Rome was built on seven hills, Dufftown was built on Seven Stills” Join Gordon Haughton and his team for this walking tour around the Stills of Dufftown.
“Dramble” is an amalgamation of 2 words Dram and Ramble, which gives you a good idea of the event. Yes! It’s a gentle walking tour around the 9 Distilleries of Dufftown taking a dram at the strategic points. The dramble will visit but not tour the 6 working Distilleries – Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie, Glendullan, Mortlach and Dufftown and include the 3 closed distilleries of Pittyvaich, Parkmore and Convalmore. Gordon will provide Cheese and Oatcakes at the half way point.
The dramble will not be strenuous, covering a distance of about 5 miles (8 Km). Please wear stout footwear and suitable outdoor clothing and always be prepared for the inclement weather for which Scotland is famous.
Drams will only be served to those over 18 years old.
The proceeds from this event will be donated to the Whisky and Heritage Centre project.
