Join Karen McWilliam, the senior Visitor's Centre Guide for a Connoisseurs Tour at GlenDronach Distillery near Huntly, home of some of Highland region's very best sherry cask whisky, judged by many to be the new Macallan. The Distillery has very kindly agreed to host this Saturday morning visit to the distillery and share with you some of the excellent drams from GlenDronach.

Since the purchase of the Distillery by the BenRiach Distillery Company in 2008, GlenDronach has relaunched the brand with a core range of expressions from the 8 year Old Heilan to the 21 YO Parliament.  In addition, Billy Walker, the then Distillery Master Blender,  introduced a full range of single cask bottlings of some exceptional casks.  The Distillery Group was bought in April 2016 by Brown-Forman and this is your chance to discover what influence the change in top management has had on the Distillery.

There will also be the opportunity to hand fill a bottle from the Distillery manager's selected cask, currently an 11 Year Old from a Pedro Ximenez Puncheon. This tour promises to be one of the highlights of the Festival.

Over 18's only please.

All the proceeds from this event after costs will be donated to the Dufftown 2000 Whisky and Heritage Centre project.
