Moray College Whisky Course

This course will provide a grounding in the history of whisky making, the production process and marketing of the product and will develop skills in nosing and tasting. In particular, it will focus on developing an appreciation of the general characteristics of the different styles and types of Scotch whisky.

The course will be especially relevant to those who work in the Scotch whisky, hospitality, leisure & tourism and retail industries.

An Open Learning course of approximately 20 hours study, delivered on CD ROM format and including a series of miniatures for nosing and tasting, leads to a Moray College Certificate.
