Spirit of Speyside 2008 

High on a hill overlooking the River Spey, with magnificent views across to Ben Rinnes, the Macallan Visitor Centre nestles within the glorious Easter Elchies Estate at Craigellachie. The Macallan Distillery has the smallest spirit stills on Speyside and its whisky is only ever matured in ex sherry casks from Jerez in Spain.

During this period visitors cannot take the usual Distillery Tour. Instead a limited tour is substituted with a visit to warehouse 7, a traditional warehouse followed by a tour of the warehouse upper floor exhibition 'The story of Oak' and ending with a dram in the Visitor Centre. Tours by appointment at 1000, 1100, 1400, & 1500 - max 10 people.
