Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival:
24th -27th September 2010

A great 4-day Festival held each year in the Heart of Speyside, arranged by Dufftown 2000 Ltd.

Throughout the Festival several distilleries that are not normally open to the public invite whisky enthusiasts to tour their facilities and sample their products. Mini bus trips are laid on that enable connoisseurs of whisky to tour and taste an incredible array of fine malts from a wide range of distilleries. The most infamous of these is the marathon "Seven Stills Tour" that visits all of Dufftown's distilleries on a single trip with a dram at each and every one. Definitely not for the faint hearted! But there is more - music, dancing, exhibitions, pipe bands and food and craft fairs. The best of Scotland's culture is on show alongside the celebration of its national drink.

Working in partnership with the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival all events for the Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival can be booked via this website from Tuesday 3rd August at 8pm.

Next Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival:
28th April - 2nd May 2011

There are many exciting events being planned and organised at the moment for next year's Festival - the 2011 Festival is again going to be buzzing with great whisky events, food events, music and fun!

There will be something for everyone throughout the Speyside area, from Forres and Grantown-on-Spey in the West to Elgin and Keith in the East stretching down to Glenlivet and Tomintoul in the Cairngorms National Park in the South.

There will be unique tours and tastings, many at distilleries not normally open to visitors, opportunities to meet the experts, matching food and whisky events, a local food fair, masterclasses and lectures, wildlife walks with whisky treats, art and craft, drama and comedy, mountainbiking tours, family fun days and many more entertaining events. Also throughout Speyside there will be many live music events - the 2010 Festival saw a significant increase in music and we intend to keep this trend growing!

We look forward to seeing you there!
